With the help of grants and generous benefactors over the last couple of years, Rocco’s Voice for Autism was able to:

• Reward high school students with scholarships to explore the Special Education field and provide scholarships to students with special needs who transition into the workforce.

• Build the first ever Inclusive Playground in the area for children with disabilities with the help of the Town of Oyster Bay.

In 2025, Rocco’s Voice for Autism has:

• Donated and installed sensory equipment with the support of the Town of Oyster Bay parks to provide children with autism opportunities to interact with their peers.

• Donated and installed communication boards to various school districts and playgrounds across Nassau & Suffolk counties.

• Provided students in school districts across Long Island $10,000 in special education scholarships and expanded our program by adding 4 more school districts.

Our goals for this upcoming year include: 

• Continuing to install communication boards in public parks, play areas, school districts and designated sensory spaces across Long Island.

• Continuing to provide academic scholarships for high school students as we expand our reach into surrounding school districts. 

• Most importantly, continue to provide children with disabilities opportunities beyond classrooms and academic settings.
